What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Your transaction is privately and securely handled via PayPal's enterprise grade payment processing system.
Who are you guys?
The Theme Foundry is brought to you by Jestro LLC, a small design studio based in Boise, Idaho. All of the themes are designed, built, and maintained by Creative Director Drew Strojny. He also happens to hold the all-time record for posts in the member support forums.
How long have you been in the theme business?
We started releasing themes way back in 2008 (before it was cool) and are considered one of the few established and proven WordPress theme providers in the community. We love building beautiful, accessible WordPress themes and will be doing so for years to come.
We also use WordPress on a daily basis for ourselves and our clients, so we are heavily vested in the success of WordPress and our themes. If you want to learn more about how The Theme Foundry came to be, read our story.
Where do I get support?
We provide support via our support forum and theme tutorials. We do not provide any support via e-mail, phone, or Twitter. If you have questions about signing up or are having trouble accessing your account we will be happy to assist you via e-mail.
When should I expect a response to my questions?
You can expect a response to your question within 12 hours Monday - Friday. We will usually respond to support requests more quickly (3 - 6 hours) and sometimes on weekends and holidays but you should not count on it.
What kind of support questions may I ask?
Our support is geared towards and focused on our WordPress themes. We do not provide support for 3rd party plugins or general WordPress questions, but we will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Can you help with customizations and modifications?
We are more than happy to help you customize your theme. Our support forums are chock full of killer customization tips and tweaks. This includes switching fonts, changing colors, basic layout modifications, and more. Keep in mind, you should not expect us to teach you CSS/XHTML or provide step-by-step instructions for extensive modifications.
What is the PRO version? Do you have a free trial?
We provide a free trial version of all our themes. We want you to fully experience the quality of the product before making a purchasing decision. It wouldn't be fair if we asked you to buy without kicking the tires first.
When you purchase your new theme you get immediate access to the PRO version of that theme. We also provide you with a quick installation video tutorial so you can get up and running fast. If you have any questions or run into problems we will be available in the support forums to help.
Will your themes work on WordPress.com?
The free versions of both Vigilance and Titan are available on WordPress.com. None of our other themes are available on WordPress.com. You cannot use the PRO version of our themes on WordPress.com, they will not allow you to upload template files. Do not expect to install any of our themes on WordPress.com, it is not possible.
If you buy Vigilance PRO or Titan PRO we will gladly give you support and customization tips. If you move to a self-hosted WordPress.org blog you will be able to install the PRO version of your theme.
